My name is Katie, and I attended the Northwood Institute of Taxidermy in Friends, PA, where I completed their full taxidermy program and earned my diploma. During my training, I worked across all major categories—birds (a flying duck, a flying pheasant, and a base pair of pheasants), mammals (two whitetail shoulder mounts—one full sneak and one wall pedestal—plus a full body fox and a table pedestal coyote), and fish (a steelhead, rainbow trout, walleye, and bass). Check out my photo gallery! This foundation has allowed me to develop strong technique and attention to detail across multiple species, and I now bring that experience to my work here in Dayton, VA.
